Deputy Paul Murphy asked the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if childcare providers that have signed a core funding scheme contract for any one year are under any legal obligation to inform parents three months in advance that they will not be signing up to the following year's core funding contract, or if the obligation to provide three months' notice of withdrawal from the core funding scheme only applies to notifying his Department, and further, that this only applies if they are withdrawing from core funding within a 12-month contract period.
