Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Transport if he will request Transport Infrastructure Ireland and the National Transport Authority to examine the possibility of rerouting the Bray to Greystones railway line, by tunnel if necessary, to improve connectivity between Dublin and Rosslare Europort; and if funding might be available under the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) policy which is the EU’s core strategy for creating a unified, high-quality, multimodal network of railways, roads, inland waterways, and shipping routes by 2050.
