Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Finance in view of the fact that more than 6,000 pubs have closed since 2009, his plans to try and work with the Vintners' Association of Ireland to try and ensure that no more pubs close in view of the fact that for every pub that closes, employment is lost and a service to the local community is lost; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
