Deputy Lisa Chambers asked the Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment if he will instruct his Department to engage with the liquidator of a company (details supplied) in County Mayo to determine the assistance the State could lend to ensure this project is completed in view of the fact that it will provide some much needed employment in County Mayo and assist greatly in marketing the area, in conjunction with the fibre optic cable that came on shore in Killala, as a place for technology companies and potentially data centres to locate.
