Deputy Charlie McConalogue asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine his plans to make provision for working capital to farmers available in a new loan scheme in view of the fact that both the SME working capital Brexit loan scheme and the future growth loan scheme do not allow farmers to drawdown funds for working capital; and if farmers will be permitted to apply to the SME working capital loan scheme in view of the low drawdown of funds to date.
