Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to local concerns regarding the lack of any local area plan in respect of the proposed substantial additional housing units proposed by his Department and Dublin City Council for the Finglas area; his views on the need to provide corresponding additional services in respect of schools, health, policing and so on in order that sustainability can be ensured; and if he will arrange the commissioning of such a development plan as a matter of urgency.
