Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 423 of 1 October 2019, if the specific question asked will be addressed; if differences in the way in which different pension products and funds are assessed, both in terms of income and capital as part of the financial assessment of an application under the nursing home support scheme will be set out with particular regard to the treatment of an approved retirement fund of a private annuity pension or a public service pension; his plans to make changes in this area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
