Deputy Michael Lowry asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform the progress made on the development of a new Garda station in Kickham Barracks, Clonmel, County Tipperary; the additional engagement that has occurred for this development between his Department, the Minister of State in the Office of Public Works, the Minister for Justice, and the National Development Finance Agency (details supplied); if the development of Clonmel Garda station is considered a priority for the Government, given that a new Garda station in Clonmel is urgently needed for the all members of the public who are served by the members of An Garda Síochána stationed in Clonmel; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
