Broughan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality if An Garda Síochána retains statistics on the number of demands made by members of An Garda Síochána for the production of a driving licence under section 40 of the Road Traffic Act 1961; and if statistics are collected regarding the number of occasions members of An Garda Síochána have seized driving licences where the member has reasonable grounds for believing that a person has been disqualified from driving.
