393 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health and Children the way in which he will ensure that the services for tuberculosis patients are fully maintained in view of the pending closure of the tuberculosis unit at Peamount Hospital; the rehabilitation and geriatric services which will be provided and when; if the ERHA were fully informed on the proposed closure; the ERHA policy in this regard; if he has satisfied himself with the approach adopted by the hospital board in making a hospital consultant redundant; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
