Deputy Gino Kenny asked the Minister for Education and Skills if his attention has been drawn to the concerns of the parents of the 27 children who avail of the services and support of the ASD unit in a school (details supplied) and who are worried that their children will not be able to access a similar unit when they move to secondary school; if the process of establishing an ASD unit in a school will commence to accommodate these children's needs during the next stage of their education; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
