Deputy Cian O'Callaghan asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the system in place to ensure that HAP tenants, including those already in receipt of the full discretionary allowance, who receive notice of a rent increase will have that increase covered as part of their HAP payment and will not be forced to carry this additional cost on top of their differential rent payments; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
