Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Justice and Equality in view of the fact that in the period 1999 to 2013, inclusive, over €59 million was paid out by the State as a result of civil actions against the Garda, the amount of this money that was paid out by the members of the Garda concerned in these cases; the number of these members who have been disciplined; the number of these members who are still serving in the force; if any one of these gardaí lost entitlement to their Garda pension; and if so, the number of same.
