307 Deputy Jack Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children, further to Parliamentary Question No. 384 of 12 April 2011, the progress made regarding a person (details supplied) to address medical needs and the fact that due to the medical procedure needed the person cannot use the National Treatment Purchase Fund system despite the fact that the person is now waiting four years for such a procedure; if the person can be transferred to another hospital in the State that can facilitate such a medical procedure or if the Health Service Executive will investigate the position of being transferred to a hospital outside the State that has such facilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
