Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Finance further to Parliamentary Question No. 116 of 27 June 2018, if insurance intermediaries as regulated by the Central Bank potentially include claims harvesters; if the Central Bank has any role in regulating so called claims harvesters or if it is solely for the Law Society; if he has considered implementing stronger regulation on claims harvesters similar to that being considered by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
