Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media if her attention has been drawn to the growing number of film studios applying for and being granted planning permission across the State; if any Departmental analysis of the capacity of the film industry to sustain so many studios has been conducted in terms of crew, productions and investment; and if her Department will develop a national strategy for audio visual infrastructure to ensure sustainable future development that will support stable employment and Irish cultural output.
