Deputy Mairéad Farrell asked the Minister for Transport regarding the RSA’s website, and the significant delays incurred by applicants waiting to be called for a driving test, if he is aware of the practice whereby third parties (apps/companies) offer a service of booking a cancellation for a fee on behalf of applicants, and the difficulties this creates for natural persons applying for a cancellation; and what, in his view, the standard waiting period to be called for a test should be.
