278 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 656 of 6 July 2006, her views on the fact that the number of pupils in County Kildare who are being taught in classes with more than 24 pupils is 17,319 pupils, which represents 78% of all pupils in national schools in County Kildare; her further views on the fact that she has not fulfilled her promise to reduce class sizes for under nines to 20 or less or if she believes that only 22% of pupils in County Kildare are under nine; and the action she will take to correct this broken Government promise.
