Deputy Anne Rabbitte asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs further to Parliamentary Question No. 785 of 29 November 2016, if she will provide clarity in particular on a sentence (details supplied); if this means that the universal subsidy will be paid to parents on a pro rata basis; if so, the number of hours of child care per week and the number of weeks per year a child will have to undertake for its parents to be eligible for the maximum subsidy of €900; and if she will provide an explanation for a scenario (details supplied).
