292 Mr. Ferris asked the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources the action he intends to take to settle the industrial dispute with the fishery inspectors which affects the fish processing industry by the Department’s ban on landings between midnight and 8 a.m.; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that boats are now landing outside of this country and thus seasonal workers are being denied the right to work by the actions of his Department; and if the Minister will compensate the fish processing workers for loss of earnings and the fishermen for additional transport costs.
