Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Health if the memo issued by the CEO of the HSE in October 2023 (details supplied), and the later communication from the national director of community operations regarding scoliosis and spina bifida patients, is being adhered to in all CHO areas; if he will provide a report from each CHO area outlining the actions taken by each CHO relative to this memo, and give the number of cases in each area where the instructions are not being applied; his intentions to ensure to that the memo is fully complied with; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
