Deputy Colm Keaveney asked the Minister for Health if he will confirm that a person (details supplied) in County Sligo was referred for assessment or treatment by a psychiatrist in Dublin because there were no psychiatrists available in the child and adolescent mental health services in counties Sligo, Leitrim and Mayo; when the person will receive the care required in the person's own region without having to undergo the onerous trip to Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
