Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Minister for Education if she is aware that some schools in Balbriggan have been awarded DEIS status and as such are availing of the MBX school meals programme; if she is aware that schools with the same catchment area have not been granted DEIS status and as such are not eligible for the MBX school meals programme; the objective criteria used to determine this, particularly where the catchment areas are identical; if her Department plans to address this anomaly; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
