Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform further to Parliamentary Question No. 248 of 12 March 2013, the date on which new pay and allowance arrangements under Croke Park 2 need to be implemented in 2013 in order to generate planned savings in the public sector; and if he will confirm the net savings, that is the difference existing gross pay and allowances less tax and other contributions to the State and the new gross pay and allowances less tax and other contributions to the State, planned for 2013.
