Deputy Derek Keating asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government following the granting of planning permission by An Bord Pleanála, against the wishes of the Bord Pleanála planning official, for the development of a dump in the Rathcoole area, County Dublin, the steps and safeguards his Department will take to ensure that the environmental impact of this decision, and the conditions that have been assigned to the planning grant, are strictly monitored and adhered to; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
