Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Finance the number of taxpayers within the high earner restriction in 2012, analysed within income bands of €125,000 to €250,000, €250,001 to €500,000, €500,001 to €750,000, €750,001 to €1,000,000 and more than €1 million; the estimated extra yield arising in the year because of the restrictions; and also the estimated yield because of the restrictions in 2013 and 2014.
