Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs the progress under the programme for Government to establish the feasibility of offering motor tax services and other State services in post offices, to establish a working group to identify the potential for local post office to act as hubs to facilitate other services, such as health and transport and a one-stop shop for Government services and to support the establishment of a post office network renewal process to build on An Post's existing five-year strategy for the network.
