Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Finance the changes which have been made to regulations governing approved minimum retirement funds in the past three years; if he is aware that changes made recently have had the effect of preventing withdrawals from a pension fund above 4% of gross value per year until a beneficiary has reached 75 years of age; the circumstances under which a person may withdraw more than this level in order to address outstanding tax liabilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
