Deputy Albert Dolan asked the Minister for Health her views on the HSE’s confirmation that it has not been in a position to meet the Government’s 15-day prompt payment target or to produce the quarterly compliance reports required under Government Decision S29296; the way in which this has been allowed to continue for over a decade, given that all other departments and public bodies have been publishing prompt payment reports since the policy was introduced in 2009; and if she was previously aware of this long-standing non-compliance by the State’s largest purchaser of goods and services.
