Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Education and Youth given that children seeking international protection at the Citywest Reception Centre may be enrolled in local schools within two months of application while their families are simultaneously subject to the accelerated border procedure of up to 12 weeks, or to onward dispersal to other IPAS centres following screening, the arrangements in place to address the continuity of a child's education where the family is subsequently relocated or required to leave the State; the number of times such a child may be expected to change school; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
