Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if he will discuss with the Minister for Justice the issue of owner management company contracts and private owner leases in multi-unit developments preventing the sale of private apartments to local authorities for use as social housing, including through the tenant-in-situ scheme; if he will determine whether this may act as a barrier to the tenant-in-situ scheme; and, if so, if he will agree how best to remove this barrier with the Minister for Justice.
