Deputy James Bannon asked the Minister for Social Protection the scheduled date for an oral hearing for a person (details supplied) in relation to their one parent family payment in view of the fact that their previous hearing was adjourned due to insufficient information; if she accepts that this is not a new hearing but a relisting of a previous hearing; that this person is now waiting in excess of 12 months to have their claim decided on; if she will indicate when the date will be scheduled and when this claim will be decided in view of the fact that this person is now experiencing serious financial hardship; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
