Deputy Eoin Ó Broin asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage his views on the growing number of judicial reviews of residential developments being lost by An Board Pleanála and the rising cost to the State of these court decisions finding against the Board; if concerns have been raised in this regard; and the action he plans to take to ensure an improvement in the legal basis of the decisions by the Board and improved cost controls to reduce the growing cost of lost judicial reviews by the Board.
