Deputy Tom Fleming asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will review the anomaly whereby young farmers who commenced farming prior to October 2008 and who are still under 40 years of age and did not have the chance to build up good entitlements between 2000 and 2002 are now excluded from the national reserve; if he will take into consideration that these farmers are hardworking, progressive and industrious and have built up their farm businesses; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
