428 Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs the reason her Department have ceased payment of a State contributory pension in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny having sanctioned the payment of the pension after a detailed investigation and approving a weekly pension and arrears; if the pension will be restored based on her Departments acceptance of payment from the applicant of PRSI contributions; if her Department is now obliged to continue payments having accepted on investigation the clients right to the pension and thereafter entering into the agreement; and if an agreed solution to this issue can be found.
