PQ 341

368 Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will evaluate a situation whereby a person (details supplied) was approved for assistance under the treatment abroad scheme but has recently received communications from the Health Service Executive that contradict that prior commitment; if, considering the very obvious need of this family for such assistance, he will make all possible efforts to ensure that the HSE fulfil its original commitments to include this individual on the TAS; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
