Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if the National Standards Authority of Ireland has been asked to review IS 465 to include testing for pyrrhotite and other deleterious minerals in concrete blocks and foundations, in addition to pyrite and MICA; and if this is the reason his Department is not agreeing to the demolition and rebuilding of homes in County Donegal under the defective concrete block grant scheme at this time.
