413 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the proportion of people who agree to pay the relevant fine and have penalty points awarded in relation to drivers who are stopped by Gardaí and are accused of an offence that attracts penalty points; the proportion which decline to do so; if all those who decline to do so are prosecuted in court; and if his Department does not have this information, the way in which the success or otherwise of the system can be judged.
