Deputy Mattie McGrath asked the Minister for Health if he will ensure that the area of early intervention services will receive increased funding in budget 2017 to ensure that the Government's increased commitment to early intervention services for children with special needs will be fulfilled in an effort to reduce waiting times for assessment and follow up therapies; if he will ensure a genuine effort will be made to fill all vacancies for therapists in this area; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
