Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of persons aged 25 years of age currently on a reduced rate of jobseeker's allowance who had previously been on a full rate under the care leaver exemption; the number of care leavers transiting to a reduced rate at the age of 25 each month for the 12 months April 2016 to April 2017; and the number of persons who are newly exempted from reduced rate by virtue of leaving care in the 12 months April 2016 to April 2017; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
