Deputy Noel Harrington asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the capacity in litres for water storage on Cape Clear island, County Cork; the annual demand in litres for water on the island; when added capacity will be provided on the island in order that water will be provided on a 24 hour basis throughout the year rather than the present system where the water supply is turned off for 12 hours a day during dry spells; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
