Deputy Terence Flanagan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if there will be any services put into place for assisting steel fabrication companies in Ireland with adopting the standards enacted by the EU construction products regulation, and in managing the costs of implementing the regulation; and if these services will follow the same structure as the grant systems available for steel producers in the United Kingdom through the Manufacturing Advisory Service; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
