Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Transport if his attention has been drawn to the fact that persons who wish to travel from Dublin to Trim in County Meath via rail from Connolly to the M3 Parkway stop, and use the bus for the remainder of the journey must walk 2km on a stretch of road which does not have a footpath between the M3 Parkway train stop and the 111 bus stop (Athboy Route) at a location (details supplied); if he will consider the potential for having a bus stop on that route at the train stop to ensure safety for commuters and to encourage more use of the rail system; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
