Deputy Andrew Doyle asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government in view of the need to ensure that Ireland has a reliable, high-quality water supply, if there is sufficient guidance for An Bord Pleanála to ensure that every planning review which includes wastewater treatment is considered by a board which has adequate expertise to assess the proposals or obtains independent outside expert advice; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
