Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Minister for Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht if it is a condition of being granted a film certificate that a producer company, together with the qualifying company, is required to give an undertaking in respect of quality employment and training, that compliance with same requires an undertaking by the film company that it is the employer of the crew working on the production and that, in the event of a dispute being referred to the Workplace Relations Commission, the undertaking clearly establishes that an employment relationship exists between the company and the crew; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
