425 Deputy Alan Shatter asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason for the continuing delay in permitting a school (details supplied) in Dublin 16 to apply for planning permission and for his continuing failure to sanction the construction of the new school; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that substantial moneys have been spent on the design of the new school; and if he has abandoned the commitment given to the Knocklyon community prior to the 2007 general election that the construction of the school would be sanctioned without delay.
