Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn asked the Minister for Health if he is aware of the policy of transferring children who have cancer from Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Crumlin in Dublin 12 to St. James's Hospital in Dublin 8 when they reach 16 years of age; and if a new policy will be considered that would not cause as much upheaval and at times distress for the families involved.
