Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to outline the eligibility criteria that will be used to determine whether a sufficient agricultural activity is present on the following commonages in south Galway in future: Kilbeg, Cloughan, Gornaglev, Kilnagappagh, Keelderry and Derrybrien west; the level of farming activity that will be required to be carried out on these sites for them to be eligible for the basic payment and the greening payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
