Deputy Marian Harkin asked the Minister for Finance if the Revenue Commissioners other than as set out in SI 127(4) of the Finance Act 2001 as amended, have lawful authority to not issue condemnation proceedings if they are duly served with a notice of claim; if so, the specific section of sub-section of the Finance Act 2001 that grants the Revenue Commissioners such lawful authority; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
