Deputy Catherine Connolly asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs to outline the officially adopted view of his Department in regard to the NATO intervention in Kosovo in 1999; if that view holds that it was in line with the fundamental underpinnings of European security within the framework of the OSCE, namely, sovereign equality, refraining from threat or the use of force, inviolability of frontiers, peaceful settlements of disputes, fulfilment in good faith of obligations under international law; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
